![]() The 56 cards of the Minor Arcana (little secrets) are divided into four suits related to the four elements (earth, fire, water and air). Especially in the 22 cards of the Major Arcana (big secrets). This archetypal journey of the soul is reflected in the 78-cards of the modern-day Tarot. As an actualized human the soul ascends the 10 sefirot to attain infinite oneness beyond the tree. The Kabbalah, as the Tree of Life, represents the journey of the soul as it descends through 10 sefirot to actualize itself in its earthly form. This knowledge was hidden for thousands of years by those who wished to be the gatekeepers of our soul. This wisdom of the soul resurfaced in the Kabbalah during the middles ages in Jewish mysticism, which is related to Sufi mysticism. The judegment between heaven and earth, male and female, or even good and evil dissolves, when we realize that we are all divine souls living within a human body. When we see ourself as whole, we are in fact holy. In the Kabbalah, Shekhinah is associated with the tenth sefirot Malkuth, “kingdom on Earth” who sits at the bottom of the Tree of Life. The Knowledge of Life represents our intuitive knowing that the circular world of the divine feminine and the linear world of the divine masculine are within each of us. As an angelic scribe, Metatron guards the “Book of Secrets”, which is thought to hold the answers for humankind’s return to the Garden of Eden. The female counterpart to Metatron is Shekhinah, which is “dwelling” in Hebrew. In Islam, he is known as Mitatrun “the angel of the veil”. According to the Talmud and Kabbalah, Metatron is the first sefirot Kether, “throne or crown” who sits at the top of the Tree of Life. This matrix is often referred to as Metatron’s Cube.Metatron, or “measured throne” in Hebrew, was the name given to the prophet Enoch when he was transformed into an angel. This matrix is created by connecting the center points of each of the 13-independent circles in the Fruit of Life with 78 lines. Here the circular world consciously merges with the linear as one. The Knowledge of Life is revealed within our Third Eye Chakra. By remembering that we all come from the stars we realize that we are interconnected with all that is. There is a belief that we hold the blueprints of this cellular memory within us. Eventually life evolved and began to replicate itself through unique RNA and DNA sequences. As temperatures changed, complex elements such as water formed, which encouraged the growth of cellular bacteria and other organic micro-organisms. All life on earth began from the many elements, chemicals and metals found in the star dust that impacted our earth over 4.5 billion years ago. The Star of Life encourages us to dream within the realm of infinite possibilities as we reconnect with the stardust that created us. All totaled there could be an infinite number of stars that speak to our soul and call us home. Some believe in the concept of multi-verses, which means there are other universes beyond ours. Our universe is estimated to have begun over 13.8 billion years ago. ![]() Scientists and astronomers have suggested that there are close to 2 trillion galaxies in our known universe with an average of 100 million stars in each galaxy. ![]() Our Sun is a star that generates the electro-magnetic spectrum of light that we live in. The Star of Life is also representative of light, which is created by stars. Another translation is: “light, spirit, body” (mer-light, ka-spirit, ba-body). In Egyptian, it meant the beloved body and spirit of the soul (mer-beloved, ka-soul body, ba-soul spirit). The word Merkaba, in Hebrew, means chariot. Together, they generate a powerful yet subtle electro-magnetic field that is often referred to as our aura or auric field. The upward pointing tetrahedron represents – fire, air and blade while the downward facing tetrahedron represents – water, earth and chalice. The Star of Life is also known as a Merkaba, which consists of two rotating tetrahedrons. The Star of Life is associated with our crown chakra, reminding us that we come from the stars and will return to the stars.
